Arena UK Festival 2023

It was an outstanding week for Team FFEQ at Arena UK. The week began with the disappointment of outdoor classes being canceled due to a Sunday night downpour, with the exception of FFS Everests. However, there was a bright spot as he delivered a flawless double clear performance in the 95 open class, wrapping up the first day on a high note.

As the week unfolded, the team continued to shine, achieving more double clears across various classes and securing promising rounds for their young horses. Notably, Chilli Versace GF stood out in the fiercely competitive 4-year-old Grand Prix Qualifier. With two exceptional rounds and two shared first-place finishes, this talented young horse secured a spot in the finals on Saturday, impressing both judges and fellow competitors with yet another double clear performance.

Que Balou GF showcased his immense talent during the first half of the week, while Cosmic GF took over for the latter part. Cosmic GF's progress throughout the week was remarkable, delivering outstanding performances each day and earning a commendable 9th place out of nearly 100 participants in the British novice category, indicating a promising future ahead.

FFS Everest consistently delivered top-notch performances all week, maintaining a streak of clear rounds. Though he showed signs of fatigue towards the end of the week, with a minor pole tap in each of his finals, his overall performance remained flawless.

Additionally, Ultimate II made a comeback from semi-retirement, impressing with solid rounds that earned a spot in the finals. This demonstrated that he's not ready to slow down anytime soon.

Overall, it was a fantastic week for everyone involved in nurturing these exceptional young horses. Such moments provide an opportunity to reflect on the journey and acknowledge the significant progress that has been made.
